Timing is Everything
Brief
The brief was to create an engaging motion post by transforming static carousel content into a fun, scroll-stopping reel. Since crypto as a topic often feels heavy and repetitive to audiences, the challenge was to make the content feel lighter, more approachable, and easier to consume.

Concept Approach
Instead of presenting information in a typical explanatory format, I approached the reel through storytelling and visual flow. The idea was to move away from “reading content” and toward experiencing it, using motion, pacing, and transitions to guide the viewer naturally from one idea to the next.

Design & Motion Execution
I restructured the carousel into a narrative sequence, focusing on rhythm, timing, and visual hooks to keep the reel engaging. Motion was intentionally kept playful and smooth to maintain a fun tone, helping reduce the cognitive load often associated with crypto content. Each transition was designed to feel continuous, so the story unfolds seamlessly rather than as disconnected slides.

Outcome
The final reel transforms informational content into a light, story-driven motion experience, making a complex topic feel more accessible and engaging. The approach demonstrates how motion and storytelling can reframe traditionally “boring” content into something audiences are more likely to watch, enjoy, and engage with.

Diwali Contest Reel
Brief
The brief was to design a Diwali contest reel focused on user engagement, where users could participate by trading and stand a chance to win rewards like a laptop, gold bar, or iPhone similar to a festive lucky draw. The challenge was to communicate participation and rewards without making the reel feel like a hard trading promotion.

The challenge was to communicate participation and rewards without making the reel feel like a hard trading promotion.
Concept Approach
I approached this reel as a Diwali-first engagement story, not a trading-led push. The core idea was to use the warm, festive emotion of Diwali light, calm moments, and celebration as a metaphor for “lighting a trade.” I imagined the reel as a slow, emotional build where the visuals feel familiar, comforting, and festive before introducing the element.

Story & Flow
I first conceptualised the story flow by opening with a strong Diwali mood to stop the scroll, allowing the emotion to settle, and then seamlessly blending the Lite a Trade contest message into the narrative so it feels natural rather than forced. The focus was on making the reel feel human, celebratory, and inviting, while still clearly communicating participation and rewards.

Motion & Execution
Once the concept was locked, I designed the reel specifically for a vertical social media format, keeping motion minimal, smooth, and intentional to match the festive tone. I executed the motion using Runway, taking AI support to refine transitions, enhance visual continuity, and add polish while the storytelling, pacing, and emotional direction remained completely design-led.

Christmas Year-End Momentum
This was a Christmas-themed post for Pi42, but I intentionally avoided a generic festive treatment. Instead, I designed a minimal trading-inspired visual that reflects year-end progress and momentum. The upward trading line was stylised to resemble a Christmas tree, symbolising steady growth through the year. A subtle star animation moves upward and settles at the top, reinforcing the idea of progress, achievement, and forward momentum as the year closes.
Snowball Contest — Concept, Design & Impact
Brief
The brief was to design a Christmas-themed Snowball Contest that encouraged users to participate by referring their buddies, with a total ₹10,00,000 prize pool at stake. The challenge was to make the contest visually exciting while ensuring the core trading and Bitcoin context remained clear and relevant to the target audience.
Concept & Design Thinking
I approached this by anchoring the entire visual language around the snowball effect a simple, universally understood metaphor where small actions compound into something bigger. This naturally aligned with both trading behaviour and referrals, where momentum builds over time.
Visually, the snowball concept was merged with trading and Bitcoin elements, ensuring the festive theme did not overpower the core product message. The design balances Christmas cues with financial symbolism so the content feels celebratory but still clearly targeted at traders. The idea was to make the contest feel fun and seasonal, without losing focus on participation mechanics and rewards.
Execution
The motion and visuals were designed to feel dynamic and progressive, reinforcing the idea of growth, momentum, and accumulation. The festive treatment was kept intentional and controlled, allowing the snowball metaphor to guide the narrative rather than relying on generic Christmas visuals.

Impact
The campaign saw over 1 million participants, making it a highly successful engagement initiative. The clear concept, relatable metaphor, and focused design approach helped drive participation at scale, while keeping the brand, trading context, and Bitcoin association strong throughout the campaign.

Overall, the project demonstrates how a simple metaphor-led concept, when thoughtfully executed, can drive large-scale engagement without diluting the core message or audience focus.
